Our church cluster, Transfiguration and Our Lady of Grace, are hosting a prayer and study day for the Liturgical Ministries on Saturday, Aug. 29th, from 8:00 AM to 1:30 PM. Lectors, Eucharistic ministers, choir members, sacristans, greeters and ushers, are invited to participate. Please contact your ministry lead if you plan to attend. Additionally, anyone interested in participation in these ministries is invited. Contact Deacon Marty for more information, mleach29@gmail.com.
WOMEN’S EVENING BIBLE STUDY/FAITH SHARE
Have you ever wanted to get more out of the readings you hear at Sunday Mass? In this study with Dr. Brant Pitre, we will focus on the upcoming Sunday Mass Readings and how the Gospel reading connects with the Old Testament reading and Responsorial Psalm. This study includes questions for discussion and personal reflection. This Women’s Evening Bible Study will begin on Tuesday, September 1st at 7:00pm in Stack Center Room 7. We will meet every Tuesday through the end of the year. Cost is $10 and can be paid on the first night.

Whole Family Faith (Post 1st Communion): September 13th at 10:15am
Whole Family is open for children entering grades 1st-8th.
Cost is $130 per child and $80 for each sibling in the same household.

Parent Orientation & Session #1: August 30th at 11:15am in Stack Center
For youths entering grades 9th-12th. Cost is $130 per youth and $80 for each sibling in the same household.
Cost of yearly Retreat is $80 per youth and $60 for each sibling in the same household. If your youth also needs the sacrament of 1st Holy Communion, the cost is $80 each.

ONE-DAY PILGRIMAGE
Jubilee Year of St. Francis
September 5th
Faithful from the Diocese of Oakland are invited to a day of deep spiritual reflection in celebration of the 800th Anniversary of the Transitus of St. Francis of Assisi in 1226. Join us for a pilgrimage featuring a rigorous, faith-filled schedule across the Diocese, including Our Lady of Grace with Adoration & Benediction at 9:30am! Pilgrims are encouraged to arrange carpools due to tight travel windows between stops. Lunch and snacks are self-provided.
A prayer guide will be prepared and distributed, RSVP by emailing rector@oakdiocese.org.
